The library at Swamy school of nursing is a vibrant hub of learning and research, dedicated to supporting the academic and professional development of our nursing students and faculty. Equipped with an extensive collection of nursing and healthcare literature, the library provides access to both physical and digital resources, including textbooks, peer-reviewed journals, clinical guidelines, and research databases such as PubMed, CINAHL, and UpToDate.

Computer lab

Computer Education is a pre-requisite condition for all today and the focus is the basics which will not only keep the students interested but also will orient them for future studies. The computer labs serve as a great tool for students who wish to browse the annals of knowledge and learn more

The computer lab accommodates many students and is properly monitored by computer lab assistants. The students are taught to operate the computer and carry out their tasks efficiently by the personnel Our students have effectively used the computer lab facilities to reap significant benefits.

Hostel

Hostel Facilities are expected to be good for a college which is as reputed as SIMS. And rightly so, at SIMS, we provide top-class hostel facilities are provided with spacious rooms, nutritious food, and special attention to every student therefore making them feel at home.

The hostels are well governed by the deployed hostel personnel, as they move with the students in the most friendly and affable manner The hostel authorities befriend students to mentor them by making them feel comfortable and at the same time guiding them to inculcate the discipline and decorum.

Classrooms

Students enjoy the privilege of modern classrooms, which are comfortable and spacious so that students get a good feel. The classroom has modern equipment fitted in so that students can make presentations to the class therefore making learning fun. Labs

Labs at Swamy College of Nursing fit the requirement for contemporary academics; beyond which students get to experience facilities so as to hone their practical skills. Fully equipped labs with modern scientific equipment are provided for a wide exposure. Practical work is conducted under the direct supervision of the faculty and lab assistants who ensure smooth flow of events.

Besides the academic requirement, students are encouraged to spend time in the pharmacy labs to enable a great liking to the practices. Also, students are encouraged to innovate and experiment under proper supervision. Certainly, one more reason to enjoy learning at SIMS

Canteen

The canteen at SIMS serves quality food, from morning to evening therefore ensuring that students get the right kind of food Great precautions are taken to ensure the quality of food served as we are deeply concerned about the health of the students

Any complaints with respect to the food served at canteen are taken very seriously and necessary measures are taken. Varieties of food are served at the canteen therefore also satiating the taste buds of students after their rigorous classes.

Conference hall

College is having well-designed Conference Hall with the latest furniture and modern equipment to create professional environment to train the future generation.  

It has modern interior with air conditioning.

It has HD-Projector and Wi-Fi connectivity.

It provides facilities for organizing workshops, seminars, forums, academic meetings, etc.

Anti-ragging cell

Ragging of juniors is strictly forbidden. Apart from it being an abhorrent practice it is also banned by law and could lead to criminal proceedings.

SIMS college of Nursing has ‘Zero-Tolerance Policy’ towards ragging. It is important for a student to give a declaration for this effect during registration. The College takes strict legal disciplinary action that could include temporary suspension or permanent expulsion from the College and every student should be aware. SIMS College of Nursing has a very efficient anti-ragging committee that functions for the welfare of all the students as well as for faculty, especially the freshers. Faculty members are allotted for the entire student body in SIMS College of Nursing to attend the student needs.
